		<description><![CDATA[What to eat before a workout]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Lots of people ask what they should eat before a workout.</p>
<p>Your goals have a lot to do with your decisions so without getting to specific here are some snacks that pack a punch to keep you energized throughout your workout:</p>
<div>
<ul>
<li>A small bowl of cereal with a banana</li>
<li>3/4 cup of yogurt with 1/2 cup berries</li>
<li>1 bagel with non-hydrogenate peanut butter</li>
<li>1/2 cup trail mix</li>
<li>An English muffin with nut butter and honey</li>
<li>A smoothie made with milk or juice, fresh or frozen fruit, and wheat germ or flaxmeal</li>
<li>3-4 fig cookies or a low fat granola bar</li>
</ul>
<p>My personal choice is a shake made with fresh fruit and whey protein&#8230;very versatile and covers all the angles of supportive nutrition pre/post workout for energy and muscle sparing.</p>
<p>Remember the golden rule of eating familiar foods before a race or competition. This would not be the time to try something new! Trial and error during training will help you find the fuel that will work best for you</p>
<p>Dont forget that post workout is just as/ if not more important than pre workout nutiriton so be sure to refuel post workout.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[The first workouts of 2010 need to shock your mind and body into change! Here is a workout that will do just that.]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Ok, you want to knock the cobwebs off your metabolism?</p>
<p>Here is a great workout to do it with&#8230;.<strong>WARNING,</strong> this one is a killer and sucks  every second thru. But if you finish it you will be begging for more.</p>
<p>Anyhoo, here is a workout that if you make it through, you probably will wish you were dead. But I promise it will make you stronger and shred every last ounce of useless body fat off whatever trouble spots you have.</p>
<p>50/10 circuits – 50 seconds on/10 seconds off, 4 times around the circuit.</p>
<p>Total time = 20 Minutes</p>
<p>1. Kettlebell Swings<br />
2. Spider Pushups<br />
3. Bulgarian Split Squats<br />
4. Renegade Rows<br />
5. 2 Point Bridges</p>
<p>Im kinda over the whole &#8220;happy new year &#8221; wishes. They are so 6 days ago, so have a great easter.</p>
